American postmodernist Jeff Koon sold his 102cm sculpture "Rabbit" for $91.1m (£71m) in a record-breaking fee for a living artist. Hosted by the Auction house Christie's in New York describing the item on their website as "cute, sinister, cartoonish, imposing, vacuous, sexy, chilling, dazzling and iconic".
Koons – preferred to use stainless steel as his medium of art, by 1980s he became popular in New York’s art scene. His brand of shining, sickly-sweet, bubble-sculpture, has divided opinion in the art world ever since. Check out Homeless Penthouse and grab your very own sculpture Rabbit!
