According to sources, DCEU star Jason Momoa has been cast in Fast and Furious 10, the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.

The sequel will follow the exploits of Salma Hayek's character, who is now pregnant. Vin Diesel is set to star in the film, and Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang are all expected to return. Charlize Theron, who made her debut in the franchise's eighth outing, The Fate of the Furious, is also expected to appear in F10.

However, there's a good chance that Momoa could be playing one of the film's antagonists - and it wouldn't be much of a stretch since in between Game of Thrones and Aquaman, he'll have played two very famous anti-heroes.

Lin will direct the film, while Diesel and Lin will produce it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot is still under wraps, but Momoa may be playing one of the film's bad guys.

While Diesel and Lin will produce under their respective banners One Race Films and Perfect Storm Entertainment. F Gary Gray was originally attached to direct but he dropped out due to scheduling conflicts with Fast and Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw.

It's unclear how the new entry will be written after Straight Outta Compton writer Jonathan Herman jumped ship to work on a sequel to Aladdin for Disney. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Dwayne Johnson is going to return as Luke Hobbs. The actor had hinted that he was in talks with Universal and Lin about returning in some capacity, but Johnson would have already been too busy to film a significant role in the sequel.

Regardless, fans are going to be excited for this entry since it looks like Diesel will finally get his wish of having all of his friends from the franchise together on screen.'Fast and Furious 9' was released in April to box office success, bringing in over $1 billion worldwide. The film was directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan, who has worked on all the past installments in the franchise.
