Kanye West and Julia Fox were spotted together at New York City's Carbone Tuesday night after catching a performance of actor-playwright Jeremy O. Harris' Slave Play earlier in the evening.
West and Fox reportedly attended Harris' Slave Play before dining out at Carbone, but were not present for its conclusion. The play is described as "partly based on his own experiences" about a "successful Black gay writer who returns home to confront his past."
The Tony-nominated Harris previously told The Daily Beast that he was excited to have his play directed by West.
Harris said, "I just think a lot of people don't know that Kanye has a theater background. They see him as this rapper who does fashion and all these different things, but I would say the majority of his success is actually due to his taste level in fashion. And I think people would be surprised that he has a very deep theater background."
Harris also said of West's plans to direct, "We'll see if it's going to happen—I don't know. But I sent him the script and we've been talking about it for a minute so we'll see what happens."
West and Fox were not present for the play's conclusion, but it isn't the first time the two have been spotted together. This past Saturday night, West and Fox were seen dining out at Carbone's Miami location before heading to a mansion bash thrown by The Daily Mail's Piers Morgan.
The rapper recently changed his name from Kanye West to Ye, and Fox is best known for starring in Noah Baumbach's While We're Young. It has been reported that the pair are dating, but neither network has confirmed it.
