Atlanta rapper Gunna has become the latest addition to other rappers who have purchased their own CryptoKitties, recently revealing that he is now the proud owner of a unique Bored Ape NFT. The young rapper didn't disclose how much it cost him to purchase his prized possession but did reveal that he plans on holding onto it for the long term.

Gunna is the latest addition to a host of other rappers including Lil Uzi, Trippie Redd and Future who have all went on to purchase their own CryptoKitties in recent months with each rapper more than happy to show off their prized possessions online. Whether you like it or not, Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and with many rappers now taking an interest in them, it's highly likely that Eminem will too.

A spokesperson for Bored Ape released a statement recently and revealed that they were thrilled about their latest celebrity endorsement who we're told was spotted at this year's Coachella festival while wearing a CryptoKitty onesie!

On May 15, 2019, Gunna uploaded a video on Instagram chronicling his acquisition of the digital collectible living on the Ethereum blockchain. The late singer bought one NFT through the MoonPay cryptocurrency platform for $300,000 USD. Following his performance, Gunna learned that he had joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club after getting his Ape named "Butta" outfitted with futuristic sunglasses, an ammo belt, and a green kazoo tattooed on his calf.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a community of NFTs purchased by celebrities, influencers and other notable figures worldwide.
