While A Bathing Ape is known for their streetwear classics such as graphic hoodies and shirts, the Japanese label has also made a name for itself through different lifestyle partnerships. The luxury wood furniture business Karimoku, located in Nagoya, has been creating finely constructed home furnishings since the early 1940s, was also featured in one of Medicom Toy’s Fabric range.

Throughout the years, BAPE has been making waves with its extensive list of clothing partnerships, which included Felix The Cat, Disney, Jaws, and many more. Aside from that, with its ABC camo furniture, the label entered the home furnishing industry five years ago. The camo-patterned furniture collection, created in partnership with Japanese company Karimoku, was the newest addition to the brand’s furniture portfolio.

The BAPE x Karimoku furniture series included a one-seater, three-seat couch, loveseat, and three-shelf multi-camo lined wooden bookcase. The characteristic BAPE camo design can be seen on all of the furniture pieces, making them a very fashionable addition to any modern home décor.

Furthermore, each piece of furniture was made available in a variety of colors, including a traditional military green, a vivid blue, and a quite flashy neon magenta and pink. As a result, buyers were able to choose any color for the array to match any home décor options. BAPE’s first furniture collaboration with Karimoku was made exclusive to only a few pieces, which were offered limitedly at BAPE’s Gallery in Kyoto, Japan.
