Through The World's Best , Art Basel seeks to instill in the public a heightened sense of environmental consciousness through ongoing partnerships with local conservation organizations.

A special exhibition will feature limited edition artwork by renowned artist KAWS, including a highly-anticipated oversized embroidery entitled 'Alone Again (Peter Pan Syndrome)'. The piece is the second installment of a series created in collaboration with Pace Prints. Also on display will be new works and installations by Ugo Rondinone, Ed Ruscha, Joan Semmel, Mitchell Syrop and others. The original works will be sold with an additional 10 percent of proceeds going to local conservation initiatives.

Art Basel will also be hosting a wide selection of environmental artists in its permanent collection at Art Unlimited , including Ugo Rondinone's 'Untitled (Sunrise)', which is part of the exhibition Goodbye Utopia curated by Francesco Bonami at Fondazione Prada. 'Untitled (Sunrise)' is a 35 foot high neon sign adorning the façade of the MCA Milwaukee, and will be on display at Art Unlimited for the first time in Europe.

Art Basel strives to cultivate art that resonates with its global audience by harnessing and celebrating cultural differences through art. The works included in the 'Alone Again' exhibition epitomize a multiplicity of perspectives, with each piece capturing its own unique voice through distinct mediums and techniques.

Art Basel is a nonprofit organization founded by the Swiss art dealer Ernst Beyeler that organizes art exhibitions in Miami Beach, Hong Kong and Basel (Switzerland).
