The video opens with Adele, dressed in a lacey white nightgown and matching headpiece, dancing on a wooden chair as she sings lyrics from Michael Bolton's "Said I Loved You...But I Lied"--a song that is also sampled throughout the new track.

A team of acrobats later joins her as they spin, leap and rotate from chandelier to table. Adele sports a custom Louis Vuitton dress and capelet loosely based on a regal look from the brand's Spring 2022 collection in some shots, while she wears a custom corseted dress in scarlet red satin with silk tulle bolero and train in others.

She's also joined by dancers wearing all black, as she stands in front of a giant ring light throughout the video. The final shot of the video sees Adele backed up against a wall with her capelet billowing out behind her.

Harris Reed and Vivienne Westwood created some of the looks for the music video, while Adele's stylist, Micaela Erlanger, worked closely with the designers to make their visions come to life.

Adele previously shared some of her upcoming collection on social media, including an Instagram of herself wearing a custom Harris Reed cape and crown which was specially made for her music video. Erlanger also posted photos of the custom corseted dress designer Piers Atkinson made for her.

Adele tells i-D, "It's just really cool to have people that you love and trust to come in and be like 'What do you want?' And then they bring all of these things, it's just incredible."
